News from Six Flags New England

Hi all,

I spent today (Monday) visiting Six Flags New England. The plan for the
day was, of course, to get in some coaster riding. Whenever I visit the
park, I reach out to my contacts there to meet up with them just to touch
base, say ‘hello’, and/or, get/provide updates on possible or upcoming
regional events.

Today I met with Jennifer McGrath, and she had some news to share, and she
asked that I pass on the news to our regional members that she is leaving
Six Flags New England for another opportunity. This means that her
exceptionally outgoing, spirited and informative personality will not be
present at our regional event on August 19. A new park
representative/contact for future events has not yet been announced.

Rather than try to paraphrase/summarize all that she expressed to me, I
asked that she share her thoughts in an email. The email from her appears
below.

See you in the queue,

Here’s Jen’s email:

Hello ACE Friends,

I wanted to take the moment to share some news that comes with a heavy
heart. I will be leaving Six Flags and venturing to MGM Springfield as
their newly appointed Director of Philanthropy and Community Enjoyment. My
last day with Six Flags New England will be Friday, August 11. This role
will allow me to grow professionally while supporting my passions of
entertainment and community outreach.

I want to take a moment and share how much the ACE family has meant to me
over the years. *I LOVE YOU GUYS!*

Your passion, excitement, commitment and love for theme parks and coasters
inspires myself (and the entire Six Flags family) every day. I have loved
our events, chats, emails and special moments throughout the years that
celebrates our love for coasters. For me, this is not goodbye but rather a
TTFN (Ta ta for now).

I will be cheering on my favorite theme park brand from the sidelines and
cannot wait to see what is in store for the future of Six Flags.

I could not be more proud of our ACE Community and all you have done to
preserve, educate and inspire the love of coasters. Know from the bottom of
my heart and the entire theme park community *we love you.*

I ask you please not be shy and feel free to stay in touch via Facebook.

Abade-abade-abade… uh…that’s all Folks!,

*Jennifer McGrath*
