Sadly, Hoffman’s Playland, in Latham, NY, is closing after 62 years of
operation. There is an informal ACE event taking place on August 30. See
the flier at the link below:

Hi again,

A follow-up regarding a possible date for the return of O~B~F!…. I’m
looking to have it next year, 2015 (see date correction to the original e-mail
below).

Also, though it needs to be confirmed, the last Saturday of the regular
operating schedule for Lake Compounce in 2015 should be September 12, 2015,
which is when the event, if it is held, would take place.

Sorry for any confusion, and thank you to those who have already replied
(and extra thanks to those who found my date errors!).

Greetings Boulder Dash Lovers!

Next year, 2015, will be the 15th Anniversary of the first
Oc~Boulder~Fest! at Lake Compounce, so I’m thinking there should be one, to be held on the
original, last Saturday of the regular operating-season (date to be
confirmed, but most likely September 12, 2015).

Yes, it would probably compete with Riding Of The Bull. But Six Flags
Great Adventure will co-host Coaster Con next year, so perhaps, just perhaps,
people might forego ROTB.

So the question is… who (beside me) would choose Boulder Dash over El
Toro? (a sample flier is attached)
