She had been a member of American Coaster Enthusiasts since 1984, where she
combined her love for thrill and her enthusiasm for travel. It was in 1985
when she was visiting Blackpool, England with ACE that she met Jorgen, a
fellow coaster devotee. After a two-year courtship of letter writing and
visits, they were married.
