ACE New England’s – The Great Nor’Easter!

Happy New Year, Everyone!

Our annual, off-season, ACE regional event will take place on Saturday,
March 14, 2015.

Six Flags New England will be our host this year, and rumor has it they
have a new roller coaster being built for this coming summer!

If you have a roller coaster video, slide show or other presentation you’d
like to bring before the group, let me know. Invitations have been sent
to nearly a dozen parks and a schedule will be put together after hearing
from all those who will attend.

For our region’s photographers, break out your favorite roller coaster
photos for: The First Annual ACE New England Photo Contest! The same rules
apply as those for the annual Coaster Con photo contest, and is open to all
ACE members in our 6-state region (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont,
Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island).

So that SFNE can plan ahead for lunch, be sure to reply if you will attend.

Also, I’m seeking a few volunteers to assist with check in, set up,
clean-up and other ‘organizational needs’.

Check out the attached flier, and I hope to see you there!

See you in the queue,
Rus

January Roller Coaster Riding?

Hi all,

With just 4 replies to the suggestion of an informal meet-up at Fun World,
in Nashua, NH, two of which were just “maybe”, no organization of a
meet-up will be put into place.

Please feel free to visit Fun World on your own if you need a coaster-fix
(or the Orient Express/Dragon Coaster credit)

On another note, the flier for The Great Nor’Easter has gone out to the
proof-readers, and should be available in the next 24-hours or so. Watch
your email for the announcement of our mid-winter event at Six Flags New
England on March 14!

Greetings, All!

Yeah, it’s winter in New England, which means no roller coaster riding.

Or does it?

We do have an operating roller coaster during winter in New England! Fun
World, in Nashua, NH has an Orient Express, on which adults may ride
unaccompanied by a child.

I’m thinking about an informal gathering on the afternoon of Saturday,
January 17, 2015. There’s no general admission charge, and you pay only for
the ride/s you want.

If you are interested in joining in for a ride or two, please reply to
this e-mail. Once I gauge general interest, I can make arrangements with the
facility to accommodate us.

Anybody? Anybody?

See you in the queue,
