The event will feature *Thrills* *by Day* with<br \/>\nfamily-friendly activities and *Chills by Night* with rides on monster<br \/>\ncoasters\u2026*in the dark *and haunting Halloween theming throughout the park.<br \/>\n*HALLOWFEST* will kick off September 18 and run weekends through November 1<br \/>\nplus October 12. The park will operate from 2 to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and<br \/>\nSundays, and from 5 p.m. with varying closing times on Friday evenings.<br \/>\nReservations will ensure limited capacity admission, and slots are expected<br \/>\nto fill up quickly. The company\u2019s comprehensive and ongoing safety<br \/>\nprotocols will be in effect for the entire run of the event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur annual Fright Fest celebration is one of the most anticipated<br \/>\nHalloween events of the season. Given the current environment, we are<br \/>\ntaking special precautions this year and offering our guests a version that<br \/>\nis still scary, provides lots of thrilling rides and Halloween fun, and<br \/>\nmost importantly, is safe for our guests and team members,\u201d said Six Flags<br \/>\nPresident and CEO Mike Spanos. \u201cWe will operate HALLOWFEST the same way we<br \/>\nhave operated our parks all summer, with daily temperature checks and face<br \/>\nmasks required for guests and team members prior to entry, social<br \/>\ndistancing, and enhanced sanitization measures.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>From 2 to 6 p.m, families and young thrill-seekers will experience<br \/>\n*HALLOWFEST* *Thrills by Day* including:<\/p>\n<p>   &#8211; Elaborate fall landscaping displays of pumpkins, colorful mums,<br \/>\n   cornstalks, hay bales, gourds, and festive inflatables;<br \/>\n   &#8211; Back by popular demand, a Trick-or-Treat Trail with kid-friendly<br \/>\n   Halloween monsters and individually packaged candy and treats;<br \/>\n   &#8211; Kid-centric hay bale maze in one direction;<br \/>\n   &#8211; Fun rides for all ages in the crisp, fall air; and<br \/>\n   &#8211; Halloween-themed specialty treats, like gooey caramel apples and<br \/>\n   funnel cakes made with Snickers candy, available for purchase.<\/p>\n<p>For *Chills* *by Night *beginning at 6 p.m., all haunted attractions will<br \/>\nbe available outdoors in the wide-open midways:<\/p>\n<p>   &#8211; Creepy fog, eerie lighting, and sinister music will create the perfect<br \/>\n   backdrop for nighttime scares and chills including three haunted trails,<br \/>\n   four themed zones and street entertainment;<br \/>\n   &#8211; Six Flags\u2019 signature collection of world-class roller coasters ramp up<br \/>\n   the fear factor for a heart-pounding *HALLOWFEST *experience as guests<br \/>\n   fly through the air at high speeds in total darkness; and<br \/>\n   &#8211; Halloween gear, such as themed masks, witch headbands, light-up devil<br \/>\n   horns, and scary apparel, will be on sale along with everybody\u2019s favorite<br \/>\n   glow-in-the-dark necklaces, bracelets and light sticks.<\/p>\n<p>Six Flags worked in partnership with its epidemiologist consultants to<br \/>\ncreate a safe Halloween experience that meets or exceeds federal, state,<br \/>\nand local guidelines. Park attendance will be carefully monitored to avoid<br \/>\novercrowding and all Members, Season Pass Holders, and guests with<br \/>\nsingle-day tickets will be required to make a reservation to attend<br \/>\n*HALLOWFEST*.<\/p>\n<p>   &#8211; All team members (including scare-actors) and all guests 2 years and<br \/>\n   up will be required to wear masks covering the nose and mouth while in the<br \/>\n   parks;<br \/>\n   &#8211; No indoor mazes, haunted houses, or indoor shows will be operated;<br \/>\n   some haunted trails and scare zones will be operated outdoors with social<br \/>\n   distancing strictly enforced;<br \/>\n   &#8211; A limited number of nighttime scare-actors will remain at least six<br \/>\n   feet away from guests and each other;<br \/>\n   &#8211; Guests viewing outdoor entertainment will be separated by at least six<br \/>\n   feet;<br \/>\n   &#8211; Props, rides, restraints, handrails, and dining and restroom<br \/>\n   facilities will be cleaned and sanitized regularly; and<br \/>\n   &#8211; Multiple alcohol-based hand sanitizer stations will be located<br \/>\n   throughout the parks for guest and team member usage.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on *HALLOWFEST* and Six Flags\u2019 comprehensive safety<br \/>\nguidelines, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sixflags.com\/hallowfest\">www.sixflags.com\/hallowfest<\/a><\/p>\n<p>*HALLOWFEST* reservations will be available online for Members and Season<br \/>\nPass holders beginning Sept. 3 at noon, and for daily ticket holders<br \/>\nbeginning Sept. 4 at noon at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sixflags.com\/reserve\">www.sixflags.com\/reserve<\/a>.
