\ncoaster train cars are getting a facelift this winter in the Middlebury,
\nConn., facility\u2019s maintenance shop. The ride made its debut at Quassy in
\n1952 along with three other Herschell kiddieland rides: Sky Fighter jets,
\nwet boats and pony carts. The coaster\u2019s frame and wheels as well as the
\nseats are shown during the refurbishment process this week. The jet and
\nboat rides continue to operate within the circumference of the roller
\ncoaster, while the pony carts were retired several years ago to make room
\nfor attraction updates at the lakeside property. Quassy opens for its 111th
