



 












{"id":31760,"date":"2012-10-15T09:18:05","date_gmt":"2012-10-15T13:18:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.acenewengland.org\/?p=31760"},"modified":"2012-10-15T09:23:49","modified_gmt":"2012-10-15T13:23:49","slug":"monster-flash-mob-from-canobie-lake-park-invades-faneuil-hall-marketplace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.acenewengland.org\/?p=31760","title":{"rendered":"Monster Flash Mob from Canobie Lake Park Invades Faneuil Hall Marketplace"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hundreds  of \u201cZombies\u201d from Canobie Lake Park SCREEEMFEST <br \/>\nStage  Monster Flash Mob <br \/>\nat  Faneuil Hall Marketplace in Boston <\/p>\n<p>Boston, Massachusetts (Faneuil Hall  Marketplace) October 12, 2012 \u2013 Just <br \/>\nprior to 2:00 pm on Friday, October  12, a caravan of buses pulled alongside <br \/>\nhistoric _Faneuil Hall Marketplace_ (http:\/\/faneuilhallmarketplace.com\/)  in <br \/>\nBoston and discharged their passengers \u2013  zombies, monsters and ghouls. <br \/>\nHundreds of them, marching stiff-legged toward the  market\u2019s West End. <br \/>\nAs the monsters paraded through Faneuil Hall  Marketplace, Boston radio <br \/>\ncelebrity \u201cundertakers\u201d Billy Costa of KISS 108FM and  Ramiro of JAMN 94.5FM <br \/>\nemerged from two hearses at the front of group, and the  sound of eerie dance <br \/>\nmusic was heard throughout the historic  marketplace.  <br \/>\nChoreographed in unison, the monsters began to dance  to the spine-tingling <br \/>\nbeat. The performance wowed spectators for more than three  minutes and <br \/>\nculminated with the sound of electric shocks as the zombies twitched  in their <br \/>\nfinal throes of the dance. Then, as quickly as they arrived, they  were <br \/>\ngone, back on the buses, back to _Canobie Lake Park  SCREEEMFEST_ <br \/>\n(http:\/\/www.canobie.com\/SCREEEMFEST\/index.html)  in Salem,  New Hampshire, from where they <br \/>\nhad  come.  <br \/>\nThe \u201czombie flash mob\u201d was a joint effort  between Canobie Lake Park and <br \/>\nFaneuil Hall  Marketplace.  <br \/>\n\u201cBoth of our organizations are committed to  reinventing ways to entertain <br \/>\nour visitors and guests,\u201d said Chris Nicoli,  Canobie Lake Park\\&#8217;s Marketing <br \/>\nand Entertainment Manager. \u201cWe have a great  partnership with Faneuil Hall <br \/>\nMarketplace, and together we developed a  Halloween-themed event that was <br \/>\nboth exciting and current.
