\nCoaster Con XXXV at Dollywood and Carowinds begins on Sunday!<\/p>\n
Below are some important reminders and information:<\/p>\n
v Registration – Sunday, June 17 – 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the ballroom of
\nPark Vista DoubleTree Hotel in Gatlinburg. There will also be a short
\nregistration on Monday, June 18 – 7 to 7:30 a.m. in the front lobby of the
\nPark Vista hotel.<\/p>\n
v Banquet – For those of you who are attending the banquet, please
\nremember to take your banquet ticket (included in your registration
\npacket) to the Banquet Seating Selection area during Sunday\\’s registration
\nto make your table reservation for Wednesday evening. The banquet tables
\nwill seat ten. You may make seating selections for a pre-arranged group,
\nbut every ticket must be verified at the Seating Selection area.
\nAdditional banquet tickets will be available for sale until the end of
\nregistration on Monday morning for $50 (convention attendees), Once
\nregistration closes Monday, a limited number of tickets will be available
\nto those who are not attending the convention at a price of $70.<\/p>\n
v Dollywood Season Pass Holders – Please remember to bring your season
\npass. If you do not have it, you will need to pay the difference between
\nthe discounted and full rates — $30.00.<\/p>\n
v Carowinds Season Pass \/ Cedar Fair Platinum Pass Holders – Please
\nremember to bring your season pass. If you do not have it, you will need
\nto pay the difference between the discounted and full rates — $40.00.<\/p>\n
v Important notice concerning the train to the mountain top at Dollywood
\n(Sunday evening) – You MUST arrive at the train station in the park before
\n6 p.m.! There will be only one train to the mountain top. If you do not
\narrive before 6 p.m., you will not be able to participate in the buffet
\nmeal or entertainment activities.<\/p>\n
v Parking – Attendees will receive a Dollywood parking pass during
\nregistration. You will receive complimentary parking at Carowinds by
\nshowing your Coaster Con name badge or current ACE membership card.
\nParking at the Park Vista DoubleTree Hotel is free for hotel guests only .
\n If you\\’re not staying at the hotel, you may park there while picking up
\nyour registration packets, while attending the social mixer on Monday at
\n10:30 p.m., and while attending the cocktail party and banquet on
\nWednesday evening.<\/p>\n
v Name Badges – Please remember to wear the name badge you receive in
\nyour registration packet. You will need it to participate in all ACE
\nconvention activities. If you happen to lose your badge, please see Steve
\nSmith, Dave Bird, Dave Altman, Mike Thompson, or Bill Linkenheimer for a
\nreplacement.<\/p>\n
\nv Schedule of Activities – To view or print a schedule of activities in
\nadvance, or save it to your smartphone, just click the link below or use

\navailable during the event, you can sign up to receive text and\/or email
\nnotifications (standard text message rates apply where applicable to those
\nwithout unlimited texting plans). To sign up, click on the link below or
\nuse your smartphone to scan the QR code at the right events notification.
\n Scan the code with your phone, and receive the latest convention news,
\nupdates and bulletins online. Be sure to follow the instructions to reply
\nto the first text\/or email to confirm that your opting in to the service.
\nShould you have any problem signing up for this service, representatives
\nfrom the ACE Southeast region will be on hand during registration to
\nassist you.<\/p>\n
\nActivities for early morning tours of Dollywood attractions. The tours
\nare first come, first serve, and advance sign up is required. Sign up at
\nthe Dollywood table during registration at the Park Vista DoubleTree
\nhotel. In addition, all attendees can enjoy SkyZip at a 20% discount by
\nshowing their Dollywood lanyard. The discount is valid Sunday through
\nWednesday of Coaster Con XXXV during normal operating hours. Attendees
\nMUST meet all SkyZip rules\/restrictions, and the tours are limited
\ncapacity.<\/p>\n
\nfrom 1 – 3 p.m. Advanced sign up is required, and can be done during
\nSunday\\’s registration at the Dollywood Hospitality table.<\/p>\n
\nthe last issue of ACE News, will be available during event registration.
\nPlease take a few only if needed, and share a card with anyone you may
\nmeet at the convention who is as interested in coasters as you. A QR
\ncode has been printed on the back of your event name badge. If someone
\nyou meet asks you about ACE and has a smartphone with them, they can scan
\nthe code which links to the \\”Join ACE\\” page of ACEonline.org.<\/p>\n
\nbaseball team is offering a discount for convention attendees. ACEers can
\ntake in a game or two at the Smokies Ballpark, for the week leading up to
\nconvention, with specially-priced tickets and food vouchers. Smokies
\nBallpark is located 15 miles North of Dollywood in Sevierville. Event

\nthe Great Smoky Mountains. Rafting in the Smokies offers two different
\nfloat trips \u0097 the upper Pigeon River and the lower Pigeon River. ACE
\nmembers can choose either rafting trip and combine the trip with a ride on
