ACE New England News

Hi New England ACE Members and Friends!

Today is Sunday, December 31. The end of another year has arrived.

What a year it has been for ACE members everywhere. Can you believe there
were:

§ 4 National Events (including Coaster Con 45, which broke attendance
records)

§ 85 Regional Events (world-wide)

§ 17 Online Events

§ Many, many park-sponsored events and ‘informal’ ones as well.

I hope you were able to attend at least one of those in 2023!

As previously announced, today I am retiring as your Regional
Representative. It’s been a wonderful and rewarding 13+ years. I’ve
gotten to know so many of you (although a *wee bit *short of the over 300
members in our region) and have seen many changes over those years (a prime
example — those Online Events!). I cherish the friends I’ve made during
this time, and I’m honored to have had the privilege to work with the park
representatives in our region.

*As we move on to 2024, please join me in welcoming your new Regional
Representative, Karen April! *

I’m not going away. I’m staying on as an assistant rep to facilitate a
smooth transition as we plan for our 2024 events.

I’m working with Karen, making plans for a fun-filled 2024. The first
event will be our regional, off-season event, *The Great Nor’Easter*, to be
held on March 2, 2024. Our host will be Six Flags New England! Other
events will be announced as we continue to work with the regional parks for
dates and details.

As always, if you have any questions about ACE or our ACE region, your New
England Regional Rep team information is here:
