Bob Armstrong

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of dear friend and
fellow ACE New England member, Bob Armstrong.

Bob, along with his wife, ACE Secretary Cheri Armstrong, joined ACE in
1994. Of the pair, Bob was ‘the quiet one’, but his presence was always
well known, especially his sly smile and occasional whistle of a few notes.

Over the 24 years of their ACE membership, they have attended nearly every
ACE event, whether it was local, national or international and have been
major photo contributors to ACE for *Roller Coaster!,* ACE News, and the
ACE archives. They were generous donors of door prize items after
‘downsizing’ their home and were great ACE representatives during roller
coaster media events. At nearly any New England (and national) event,
you’d more than likely find Bob at the registration table. And when it came
to Cheri’s involvement in the planning and organizing of international
trips, Bob was her biggest supporter.

Services will be private, and there are no calling hours.

Donations in Bob’s memory may be made to:

Bob’s favorite coasters, in his memory.
