Canobie Lake Park Open Daily Beginning May 24 Armed Services Appreciation Days To Be Held Memorial Day Weekend

SALEM, NH –Memorial Day weekend is a time to remember our country’s armed services members for all their sacrifices and for all they do on our behalf. It also marks the unofficial beginning of summer when many families visit Canobie Lake Park in Salem, New Hampshire.

Beginning Thursday, May 24, Canobie Lake Park will be open seven days a week through Labor Day. And to honor those who bravely serve our country, Canobie will hold Armed Services Appreciation Days on Saturday, Sunday and Monday (Memorial Day), May 26-28. Anyone presenting a valid U.S. Government-issued military or veteran identification at the Park on those days will be able to purchase a General Admission ticket for just $10. Children ages 12 and under may also receive the $10 admission on those days if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian holding a valid US Military ID. With over 85 rides, games, live shows and attractions – including the Park’s newest roller coaster, Untamed –Canobie Lake Park provides a wide array of affordable family fun. Canobie’s popular water play complex, Castaway Island, is scheduled to open Memorial Day Weekend, weather permitting. The \”really alive\” family show, Wildlife Encounters, featuring exotic wild animals, is also appearing on Canobie’s Midway Stage daily except Mondays, while the Park’s live tribute shows are scheduled to begin on June 23 rd .
