ACE New England News May 27, 2011

Hello, ACE New England Region Members and Friends!

On Sunday June 12, Six Flags New England is sponsoring \”A Walk in the Park\” to benefit Baystate Children\’s Hospital. Last year we had a small but dedicated team representing ACE New England in the walk. I\’m looking for a volunteer to head up a contingent for 2011! Unfortunately, I\’m not able to personally attend this year due to business travel.

Please let me know if you are interested in coordinating a group, or joining one. For more information, see:

Following is a message from New England ACE Member, Connie Walton:

It is with sad news that I regretfully have to tell you that Rudy Krueger (Ace#101) has passed away. I have been meanig to sending this e-mail but it has been hard for me especially after dealing with my husbands passing (Mark Walton, also an ACE member) and all that goes with that. If it were not for Rudy and Mark\’s introduction to my son to roller coasters back in 1999, I would not be here now. My son was lucky enough to be in the promo for \”Boulderdash\” before it premeired at the park. And my son still looks forward to the next thrill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Had the fortune opportunity to go to Kiing\”s Island last year in memory. Rudy had many items that he collected over the many years as an ACE member. After going through everything and sorting out what I would like to keep for my son, I have found some items that I think other ACE members would be interested in. I have ACE roller patches, park patches (some of which are no longer here) and a lot of coffee cups.

Please reply directly to Connie at if you are interested in any of thee items.
