Hello, ACE New England Region Members and Friends!
Two of the region\’s three new coasters for 2011 have opened! Six Flags New England has launched Gotham City Gauntlet Escape from Arkham Asylum with a VIP day on April 14, followed by the park opening day April 16. This themed wild mouse – the park\’s 10th coaster! – provides a zippy ride the whole family can enjoy. Be sure to stop by SFNE soon to experience the park\’s newest addition!
Quassy Park\’s new Wooden Warrior grand opening was Saturday 4/23, even though rain kept the park from opening that day. Riders who braved the wet weather were treated to two hours of ERT-like conditions with double rides throughout! We enjoyed an exciting first drop, banked turns, bunny hops, plenty of airtime, and even a tunnel packed into one family-friendly ride. This is a great addition for Quassy, and we hope to see enthusiasts flocking to experience the first new wooden coaster in CT in 11 years.
The third new coaster for the New England region, Untamed at Canobie Lake Park, is due to open later in the season. Stay tuned for updates.

Because of delays that have pushed back the opening of the Zippin Pippin, our ACE Picnic at the Park Event*has been moved to May 21st, 2011*. I will be contacting everyone of you that has registered to find out what action you want to take. If you can\’t make the new date a full refund of all registration costs will be given. The event will be the exact same as on the flier, just *on the 21st* and not the 14th. I have posted a new updated flier on the ACE sites. I apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
With this delay, the Registration deadline has also been pushed back a week to May 11th (with those attending Lambeau Field deadline being May 9th)
Hope to see you on the rails soon!
