It is with unbelievable sadness that I inform you that ACE New England
Assistant Regional Rep, and our very dear friend, Donna Piper, suffered a
fatal heart attack on the afternoon of Sunday, September 6.

She had been experiencing some health issues of late, but they were mostly
attributed to allergies and/or the stress of going back to work after a
wonderful summer of fun, friends and roller coaster travels. She had just
attended Oc~Boulder~Fest! on Saturday at Lake Compounce, (the accompanying
photo was taken there), and had been to Six Flags New England on Sunday morning
to renew her season pass for 2016. She and best friend, _Jan Good_
(https://www.facebook.com/jan.good.10) , decided to leave the park early due to
crowds, and return later in the day to process their passes. On the way
home, Donna was not feeling well and asked Jan to take her directly to the
hospital. In the ER, her symptoms indicated a blot clot, so while they treated
her for that, they ran other tests. While waiting for the test results,
Donna was stricken by the heart attack. After valiant efforts by ER staff,
they were unable to revive her.

Calling hours will be on Thursday evening (September 10) from 5-7 PM.

Funeral service will be held at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main Street,
Southborough, MA, at 10:00 AM Friday morning (September 11) with interment down
the street at Rural Cemetery following (at 11 Cordaville Road).

An obituary will appear in Metro West Daily News –
http://www.metrowestdailynews.com/

Parking is non-existent at the actual funeral home, but we are told us
on-street parking throughout the little downtown area is permissible.

I am sure every one of us will remember of all the good times (and
entertainment) Donna provided us!
